Name of Bizarre Bath Comedy walk leader: Toby! (Cindy remembered)

Also, Toby had a magical and talented rabbit named Stuart who does the Houdini trick of escaping from impossible situations. He was chained and tied into a bag and thrown in the River Avon (unfortunately, I didn't record that part of the routine), but he did escape and popped back up in a matter of seconds. Here he is--but sadly, we left him behind to swim to shore on his own. Toby was fine with that.

The reason littering is called fly tipping is that when you drop rubbish on the street it attracts flies.

We did not see Paddington Bear at the station the other day, but we did see this amazing clock:

Cindy has reminded me that she is not yet 70, and I apologize for that slip.

Delightful writing and photos. I'm so impressed. You will have this to reflect on when you return for many memories. So when is the birthday girl 70???? ---Keven (why doesn't it not remember that I'm a member?)

Alice, I kept thinking we would somehow find an extra hour or two to get to Bristol, but it just didn’t happen. Thank you again for coming all the way to London to spend some time with us.

It’s always fun to have an entertaining guide. They can make your day. The o’clock is beautiful. I guess you know, since I have four of them in my living room, that I have a thing for beautiful clocks.

About Us

Cindy "Born-to-be-wild" and Kate "She-who-falls-from-the-sky" have had many travel adventures, but this one is the biggest yet.  We've done the Mother Road, a cross-country road trip; we've dragged Toad behind us into the mountains and to the beaches; we've been to Hawaii for good and bad visits; we spent years working the Telluride Film Festival...but in our 27 years with each other we've barely been out of the country together. So we're flying off to Europe for two months of Eurailing from city to city, country to country, bnb to hotel to boatel. Cindy spent 7 years in Vienna and traveled from there to much of Europe. Kate has been almost nowhere except the Telluride Film Festival.
